Tessie M. Hummel, of Chatham Twp., died at her home on July 17, 2010. She was 98.
Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington for many years before moving to Chatham Twp. 22 years ago.
Miss Hummel worked in retail sales for Sears and Sasson's before retiring in 1985.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing and shopping.
She is the aunt of Mrs. Grace Zotti of Chatham Twp. and the great-aunt of James and Dr. Robert Zotti.
A graveside service will be held at Hollywood Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 11am. Friends may call at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Chatham on Tuesday from 7-9 pm.
