Robert Joseph Marcelliano Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather
Robert Joseph Marcelliano, 63 of Millburn on July 10, 2010. Born in Newark, raised in Summit, Robert has lived in Millburn for forty two years. He was a Staff Sergeant with the Army National Guard of New Jersey and in the Army Reserves. Robert was a fireman for fourteen years and Superintendent of Alarms with the Millburn Fire Department for twenty two years, retiring in 2005, and the owner of RJM Electrical Contractor in Millburn for forty five years. He was a member of the FMBA, Treasurer Wyoming Civic Assoc., President Beach Haven Terrace Dock Assoc, Brant Beach Yacht Club and St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills. He loved Motorcycle Enduro Racing, Skiing, Boating, Fishing and anything his dear grandchildren were interested in. He was a loving, caring, special person, the kind of person that would do anything for you. He loved his family and his friends and he made sure we all knew it. His grandchildren will always remember his love. They will also remember him as the man who could fix anything and always had a band aid. We will love and miss him forever, he was the best! Robert is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty four years Elizabeth Ann Marcelliano (nee Paynter) of Millburn, devoted daughters, Dawn and her husband Frank J. Landi, Jr. of Millburn, and Jennifer and her husband Edgar Montesdeoca of Parsippany, adoring grandchildren Isabella, Gavin, Brooke and Rowan Landi of Millburn, brother Daniel Marcelliano and sister-in-law Catherine, sister Kathleen Santoro, brother-in-law John R. Paynter, sister-in-law Ro Paynter, nieces and nephews, Lorelei Edwards, Susan Donofrio and her husband Doug, Sheryl Paynter and her husband Ken Gallant, John Paynter and his wife Laura and Samantha DeNunzio, grandnieces and grandnephews, Vanessa, Jessica, Brandon, Nicholas, Donald, Gabrielle, Augustine, John Russell IV, Hunter and Alexis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 16 at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave, Springfield In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
